Melaka Historical Heritage city - US200 per person
Take a 1.5 hour's drive to Melaka and enjoy the history of the Malay Hang Tuah, Chinese Nyonya heritage and the Portuguese history. Experience the beauty of native 'Melaka house' & 'Nyonya Baba' house. Melaka is a city with a glorious hidden past of centuries old buildings. It is one of UNESCO's World Heritage sites. Lunch & dinner will be provided.  Enjoy a boat trip in a river that flows right into the Melaka city. Sightseeing at many antique shops. To see Melaka click on this link http://www.melakatourism.gov.my/  Children under 12 are free. Itinerary is available upon arrival.

Janda Baik kampong / Temir Valley - US200 per person
This is a one day trip to a Malay kampong about 1 & half hours drive to the state of Pahang. The trip that brings you into a tunnel in the main range of Malaysia separating the states of Selangor and Pahang. Enjoy the sounds of river and nature. You can fish at a pond and swim at the river and have a picnic by the river bank. Your lunch will be a Malay local recipe. Children under 12 are free. This package includes a trip to Temir Valley, a remote sanctuary into the Rainforest. Itinerary is available upon arrival.

Kuala Lumpur City Centre - US200 per person
This one day trip to the city is only a 20-minutes drive. You will enjoy shopping at the tallest Petronas Twin Tower and experience walking on the bridge that joins the 2 towers at a staggering height. Entrance fee is not included which is US16 or RM50. You can see the city at birds eye view at the KL Tower. Shopping is a heaven here. You will also get to visit the China Town and the Kraftangan centre. Lunch will be in the city. This trip also allows you to see KL by night and dinner will be provided.  Children under 12 are free. Itinerary is available upon arrival.

Depending on what you would like to see and do, we are open for changes on the itinerary to make your vacation more meaningful to you. We can also cater to specific things you like to shop for, such as oil paintings, Asian furnitures, silk, pewters, batik, gold etc.

Amenities and Other Information

• Clydesdale Cottage

• There are 3 rooms available.. 
• Breakfast is included in all rooms rates. Either English breakfast or local Malay breakfast are served. Other meals are recommended to nearby eateries except during excursions if guests are on excursions with Clydesdale Cottage Sightseeing Packages.
• All rooms are supplied with bath and face towels for 2, hair and body shampoo, cotton buds, body lotion and a set of toothpaste, toothbrush, shaver & comb. 
• For the wellbeing of guests and to maintain the air with dust-free, guests of Clydesdale Cottage will be given house sleepers which are returnable.
• 24 hours security around the golf resort.
• Bottled mineral water, coffee, tea & milo making facilities and biscuits are available in all rooms.
• Pick-up and drop-off services from KLIA to Clydesdale Cottage will be US68 one way for a group of not more than 3. Additional guest will be charged US30.
• Clothes Washing & drying is free if stay at least 2 days or RM10 per one time use if less days.
• Ironing, steamer and hair dryer are available in the room.
• The TV has ASTRO - HBO, Start Movies, Diva, CNN, BBC, TLC, National Geography, Sports  etc. 
• All rooms are ionized air-conditioned and private toilet is with hot water.
• Internet access - 24 hours and available for free however, a small fee of US10 per hour is charged for use of laptop, fax & land phone. Photocopy services is also available.
• The library comes with a flat screen TV and DVD player. Movies are charged at RM5 per movie. We have a wide range of box office movies.
• Intercom from room to get in touch with host is available.
• Check-in is at 1 pm & check out time is at 12 noon (flexible if there aren't many guests).
• Left Baggage services is available.
• No pets are allowed.
• This is a 'no smoking' cottage. Smoking is in the garden.
• Children are most welcome to this cottage with no extra charge if stays in same room as parents. However, there will be a charge of US10 per child for breakfast.
• Special arrangement for early breakfast for golfers can be arranged upon notification.
• All guests will be given a welcome drink.
• All Private sightseeing packages includes meals.

Clydesdale Cottage is a family run business. Your hosts are Jam & Yasmin, who are dedicated to making your stay memorable with comfortable and clean surroundings and local knowledge of how to make the most of your stay in Kuala Lumpur. They have lived and traveled overseas, including US and UK, and so they can, not only help you understand your Malaysian experience from the perspective of both a native and a traveler, but they are sensitive to what you'll need as a guest and traveler. Your hosts speak excellent English, Bahasa Malaysia, Bahasa Indonesia and very little French.

The library is airconditioned and a place where guests can sit either to read magazine, papers and books or watch TV on a 32 inches flat TV screen. It has an attached private wash room and a french door that opens to the side of the garden. 

As guest sits in this room, you can get your feet massaged by an electronic foot massager to ease the strain in your feet.

The village of Saujana Impian

Clydesdale Cottage is in the township of Kajang. Kajang has a population of half a million people of all races and ethnicity. Saujana Impian residential estates has about 20,000 population with a small township. Restaurants, Western, Chinese, Malays and Indians are only about 2 minutes drive from Clydesdale Cottage. PapaRich restaurant boasts both Chinese and Western food, Borak cafe has Malay food, Meat Shop - Perfect Frozen has very fresh meat and western food. All these are within 2 to 5 minutes drive. Tesco, Giant, 7Eleven, a 24 hr convenient shop and many mini sundry markets are within 2 - 5 minutes drive from Clydesdale cottage. The famous Satay Kajang is only 10 minutes drive.About 5 minutes drive, you can find 'Hailam Kopitiam' and Tutti frutti, a frozen yogurt outlet.

For your activities, there is Impian Golf Club within walking distance from Clydesdale Cottage and Clydesdale Cottage is located at hole 6 & 7. At your doorstep, within the golf resort, you can jog, swim play tennis and obviously play golf. The club provides a snooker room and a gym. If you are into shopping, Nilai, a town of heavens for all kinds of materials from cotton & silk to brides clothes materials is only 15 minutes drive from here. Alamanda, in Putrajaya a sister shopping mall of KLCC is only 20 minutes drive from here. In Putrajaya, you can have lunch on a boat cruise on a lake that overlooks the Sultan Selangor's castle, the Prime Minister's official residence and also the Majestic Mosque of Putrajaya.

Clydesdale Cottage is surrounded with many trees that provide the fresh air and shade from sunny Malaysia. Its beauty is enhanced by 4 big fern and pine trees that blend well with the English Tudor Cottage. Its bougainvillaea flowers range from red, orange, pink, purple and white, can be found at every corner of the garden. It has many 'elephant ears' plants with big green and shades of green leaves which grows on its own. Take a walk in the garden and you will smell the aroma of 'pandan' leaves.

How to get there

(Please note that the former name of Impian Golf & Country Resort was Saujana Impian Golf & C'try Resort. It may appear on the highway as 'Saujana Impian')

From Kuala Lumpur, proceed towards the south. You will pass the town of Cheras and will bypass the town of Kajang, moving towards Saujana Impian. Proceed towards Impian Golf Resort and register as a guest of Impian Golf & C'try Resort at the guard house. Inform the guard that you want to go to Lot 259. Take the 2nd left after the guard house and proceed along this road, Persiaran Impian Gemilang. Once on this road, after 200 yards, you will find Clydesdale Cottage on your right. The sign board 'Clydesdale Cottage' is visible at its entrance. Park your car at the designated car park. We will be greeting you at the entrance of Clydesdale Cottage.

Cleobury Room - US$ 130 per night 

Cleobury Room is rich in its decoration with a queen sized bed. Its newbury nuetral color & two shade finishing, brings out its coolness. Upholstered with Monticello Jacquard Collection with 100% Jacquard cotton sateen and 700 thread count, it has an attached walk-in closet with 1 tier hanging space and luggage room. It has a private attached bathroom. Enhancing the room is a 2 seater seating area and a coffee table. It is fully air-conditioned with an alternative of a fan. Serviced with flat screen TV and a tea making corner, Cleobury room overlooks a natural hill with holes made by kingfisher birds during their nesting period. If you are lucky, and if it is the season, you might be able to catch the kingfisher birds flying in and out of the nest.  Cleobury room fits 2 guests.

Ashtree Room - US$130 per night

Ashtree Room accomodates 2 with twin sharing beds. Its rich brown decor creates an ambiance for occupants. Its two tone brown and beige colors creates a masculine atmosphere. It overlooks the Garden of Clysdale cottage. It is furnished with comfortable furnishing, a study table an a wardrobe. It has a long mirror and a private bath. Ashtree room fits 2 guests.

Little Garden - US$ 150 per night

Little Garden accomodates for 2 and has a luxurious private living room with French doors, leading to a garden where you can enjoy a drink with the chirping kingfisher birds. It is also attached with a private bathroom and is equiped with a LCD TV. Decorated to its English charm, Little garden has a vaulted ceiling and has beams to mersmerize you into the architecture of English Tudor homes. It is fixed with warm lights and an option to have reading lights.

The Library - US$ 110 per night 

The Library fits one person. It is decorated with a little bit country and modern fittings. This room is equipped with LCD flat screen and DVD player. It is both air-conditioned and a fan for choice. It has an attached private bathroom. Its walls are decorated in warm yellow and chocolate. One side of the wall, it has from floor to ceiling with books, magazines & DVD. The library has a private exit to the side garden with many wild plants still untouched when Clydesdale Cottage was built. It has the kingfishers' nest visible on the natural walls which was formerly a hill.
